Queer Diary Zine-making

Created by Queer Diary

An evening of nostalgia & crafting to create your own Queer Zine from old teen magazines

Grab a pritt-stick & join the Queer Diary team for an evening of nostalgia & crafting to create your own Queer Teenage History Zine 🌈📖

  • Design the teen mag you wish you’d read 🎨
  • Collage your fantasy prom-night 💐
  • Create a fanzine for your first crush ❤️‍🔥
  • Write a letter to your younger self 💌
  • Draw a coming-of-age cartoon 👀

Or simply sit & doodle with a friendly queer crowd.

All crafting materials provided: felt-tips + gel pens + stickers + stencils + a stack of old teen magazines to cut up & re-cycle for your own queer-tastic zine ✂️✂️

No experience or arty skills needed: Facilitators will demonstrate how to fold your zine from a piece of A4 paper, and provide creative prompts to inspire your zine-making.

Greenwich zine-making eves in 2025 are supported by the Greenwich Healthier Communities Fund.

Please note: this event is themed around memories of teenage years gone by, and is aimed at LGBTQIA+ adults.
