Deaf-led Guided Tour of Van Gogh House

Created by Van Gogh House & Gallery CIC

Visitors will have a chance to explore the Georgian House where Vincent Van Gogh lived, with BSL tour guide Alan.

Join us for an exciting opportunity to visit the house where Vincent van Gogh lived for a year.ย  ย Discover the story of 87 Hackford Road and its most famous resident through a Deaf-led guided tour.

Our volunteer guide, Alan Murray, will share fascinating insights into Van Goghโ€™s time at the house between 1873 and 1874.ย  ย Visitors will also have the opportunity to view artefacts uncovered during the recent renovation and conservation of the property, offering a unique glimpse into the stories hidden within its walls.

Please note: We recommend leaving large bags at home and wearing comfortable shoes. Due to the nature of this historic building, we regret that step-free access is not possible.
