BSL Tour: Commons (Rescheduled) and Walkabout

Created by Martin Glover

Join Martin to see the Commons exhibition and later for an informal walkabout

(Please notice the video, they are two part, new and old version together)

Following the cancellation of the original tour date (30 November) due to a water supply issue, we are pleased to reschedule the tour and add an extra activity, an informal walkabout at Tunbridge Wells.

Martin will start the tour at the Origins of Collecting gallery, where there is intriguing displays of early taxidermy, fossils, and minerals that sparked the inspiration behind David Blandy’s film.

The tour will then move into the temporary exhibition space for a guided viewing of Commons,  a 15-minute film with subtitles. This thought-provoking work blends archival footage, local history, natural landscapes, and storytelling, inviting us to reflect on the ancient woodlands and shared spaces of Tunbridge Wells Commons.

After the tour, attendees are welcome to join Martin for cafe socials / lunch in the Fine Grind cafe.

Furthermore, join Martin who will organise an informal walkabout at Tunbridge Wells Common, (probable start at 1pm and weather permitting).

Please book for your free space:
