With over 3,000 people buried and remembered in Westminster Abbey, each memorial tells a story about the past and how their legacy impacts our perceptions of British history in the present.
On this 75-minute tour, you’ll stop at a mix of famous and lesser-known memorials from the last 1,000 years, walking through some of the Abbey’s most atmospheric spaces including:
- The Cloisters, medieval corridors heaving with memorials old and new
- Poets’ Corner, where creative minds are remembered
- The Lady Chapel, a Tudor burial place for monarchs
- The Nave, including a space known as Scientists’ Corner
This tour is exclusively delivered in BSL, open to British Sign Language users, their companions and those studying British Sign Language.
