BSL interpreted: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

Created by Watermill Theatre

Soar far above the clouds with a fantasmagorical new Watermill production of the iconic Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Delve into the hearts and imaginations of eccentric inventor Caractacus Potts, his children Jeremy and Jemima, and Truly Scrumptious as they set off on an audacious adventure in their car with the big personality.

Following three critically acclaimed, sellout summer musicals, this new production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang puts the Watermill’s signature storytelling, inventiveness and imagination at its heart. Experience the much-loved classic songs played live by an ensemble cast of actor-musicians, including ‘Truly Scrumptious’, ‘Hushabye Mountain’ and ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’.

Fasten your seatbelts – summer at the Watermill is about to take off!

BSL interpreted performances are Sunday 12 July at 3pm and Saturday 8 August at 2.30pm.

We always provide closed captions at BSL performances because we know a group of deaf friends have different preferences. Just make sure you add a captioning device to your booking.

We reserve seats for BSL users, if you want to use them. To see them, create an account and select “BSL” in your Preferences. Those seats will then appear as stars.

Enjoy a drink or bite to eat in our beautiful gardens by the river before or after the show. Our BSL usher is available before, during and after the performance to support communication with our box office, front of house, and restaurant team.

If you have any feedback about our service please get in touch; we’re always open to learning and improving.

We hope to welcome you soon!
