BSL Architecture Tour

Created by The Barbican Centre, City of London Corporation

A British Sign Language tour, exclusively for D/deaf and hard of hearing people led by Martin Glover.

Did you know the Barbican’s theatre and concert hall go deeper underground than the nearest Tube line; early plans for the Centre included a Pyramid; and that the whole estate is a Grade II listed structure?

From Roman ramparts to the ruins of war and the radical architectural vision that transformed the Barbican into a cultural and architectural landmark, experience a BSL led 90 minute guided tour to uncover the stories behind the Barbican, offering a unique perspective on how great architecture can shape culture.
