Join Deaf lecturer Alan Murray as he introduces our Room 1 exhibition, ‘Stubbs: Portrait of a Horse’
This exhibition celebrates artist George Stubbs’s groundbreaking study of horse anatomy and his monumental painting of Scrub, a rearing racehorse captured with unmatched accuracy and character.
Discover how Britain’s visionary painter of equine art devoted himself to understanding horse anatomy, and how this transformed his work and the spirit of equine art ever since.
This session will be led by a Deaf lecturer in British Sign Language with interpretation in spoken English.

Water bowls are available at each entry desk. The nearest place for a toilet for your animal is Leicester Square.
