📅 On Saturday 24 October 2026, Deaf Rainbow UK is taking over Brighton for a full day of Deaf LGBTQ+ history, houseplants, laughter and Halloween fun.
🎃 Choose from three events
- 🚶 A BSL LGBTQ+ walking tour through Brighton
- 🪴 Houseplant Bingo and a relaxed Deaf social
- 👻 A fancy-dress Halloween party at the Actors’ Theatre
All three events will be delivered in an accessible, BSL-led environment. Hearing friends, family members and allies are warmly welcome too. Attend one event, choose two, or join us for the whole day.
🚶 BSL LGBTQ+ Walking Tour of Brighton
Join Jason Redwood, Chair of Deaf Rainbow UK, for a BSL-led journey through Brighton’s rich and colourful LGBTQ+ history. Discover hidden stories, remarkable people and places that helped shape one of Britain’s best-known LGBTQ+ cities.

- Duration: Approximately 90 minutes to two hours
- Language: British Sign Language
- Tickets: £10 per person, plus booking fee
- Meeting point: To be confirmed
- Capacity: Maximum 25 people
♿ The route will be as step-free as reasonably possible. The tour is outdoors and weather permitting. Please dress comfortably and check the forecast. Ticket holders will be contacted if severe weather affects the event.
🪴 Houseplant Bingo and Deaf Social
Enjoy a relaxed afternoon of Houseplant Bingo, with plants, cash prizes and plenty of time to meet people and catch up with friends in a comfortable BSL environment.

- Included: Bingo games, houseplant prizes, selected cash prizes and entry to the Deaf social
👻 Deaf Rainbow UK Halloween Party
Join Deaf Rainbow UK for a fancy-dress Halloween party at the Actors’ Theatre. Expect spooky games, entertainment, brilliant company and a prize for the best costume. Fancy dress is encouraged but not compulsory.

- Included: Entry to the private party, organised Halloween games and entertainment
Every ticket helps Deaf Rainbow UK create more community events, deliver workshops in Deaf schools and develop projects supporting Deaf LGBTQ+ people throughout the UK.
