Capturing My Greenwich Park

Created by The Royal Parks & Leah Clements

Join artist-in-residence Leah Clements to find your favourite place in Greenwich Park, and take a pinhole camera photo.

In this session you’ll find out what a pinhole camera is and how to make one yourself. You’ll then use your pinhole camera to take a photo of a place of your choice within the park.

We’ll travel together by buggy ride, exploring and taking in our surroundings. We will then each choose a part of the park to capture, taking away this moment in time as a photograph.

Leah’s work during her residency is looking into access adjustments, particularly audio/written descriptions. During this session she invites you to share some words about what you’re experiencing. If you don’t use words you might do this through sounds, gestures, or whatever feels best.

There will be snacks and drinks.

*The photos will need to be developed, so Leah will send them to you digitally after the event.
