Making A Museum: BSL Family Fun Day

Created by The Wallace Collection

Explore the beautiful Wallace Collection and learn architectural fun facts. Make your own mini museum to take home.

A family collected all the things that make up the Wallace Collection today. What are your favourite things? What would be in your museum?

Join the Wallace Collection and RIBA Learning teams, and Deaf artist Christopher Sacre for a fun family morning exploring architecture. Explore the beautiful museum galleries and learn architectural fun facts. In the Studio, make your own mini 3D gallery to take home.

This event is for D/deaf families and families who use British Sign Language. Activities will be delivered in BSL with interpretation into spoken English.

Free, but booking essential via schools@wallacecollection.org

We will also provide interpretation into BSL for Hands on Armour in the afternoon.

Making A Museum: BSL Family Fun Day is delivered in  partnership with RIBA Learning on the road.

RIBA Learning on the road

Our family and children learning programme provides exciting opportunities for everyone to explore, question, and celebrate architecture. Our London home at 66 Portland Place is now closed for a three-year refurbishment. During this time, we will continue to deliver events in collaboration with other cultural partners.
