Following the cancellation of the original tour date (30 November) due to a water supply issue, we are pleased to reschedule the tour and add an extra activity, an informal walkabout at Tunbridge Wells.
Martin will start the tour at the Origins of Collecting gallery, where there is intriguing displays of early taxidermy, fossils, and minerals that sparked the inspiration behind David Blandy’s film.
The tour will then move into the temporary exhibition space for a guided viewing of Commons, a 15-minute film with subtitles. This thought-provoking work blends archival footage, local history, natural landscapes, and storytelling, inviting us to reflect on the ancient woodlands and shared spaces of Tunbridge Wells Commons.
After the tour, attendees are welcome to join Martin for cafe socials / lunch in the Fine Grind cafe.
Furthermore, join Martin who will organise an informal walkabout at Tunbridge Wells Common, (probable start at 1pm and weather permitting).

Martin Glover, deaf BSL-user, is an architect and art facilitator. Across the UK, he delivers tours and workshops on contemporary art, architecture, street art, and public art/sculpture. He also manages his Digitspace project, championing better visual art access nationally.
This tour is for d/Deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors who are BSL users, and will be delivered in BSL only.
