Queer Diary Zine-making

Created by Queer Diary

An evening of nostalgia & crafting to create your own Queer Zine from old teen magazines

Grab a pritt-stick & join theย Queer Diaryย team for an evening of nostalgia & crafting to createย your ownย Queer Teenage History Zineย ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ“–

  • Designย the teen mag you wish youโ€™d read ๐ŸŽจ
  • Collageย your fantasy prom-night ๐Ÿ’
  • Createย a fanzine for your first crush โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ
  • Writeย a letter to your younger self ๐Ÿ’Œ
  • Drawย a coming-of-age cartoon ๐Ÿ‘€

Orย simply sit & doodle with a friendly queer crowd.

Allย crafting materials provided: felt-tips + gel pens + stickers + stencils + a stack of old teen magazines to cut up & re-cycle for your own queer-tastic zine โœ‚๏ธโœ‚๏ธ

No experience or arty skills needed: Facilitators will demonstrate how to fold your zine from a piece of A4 paper, and provide creative prompts to inspire your zine-making.

Greenwich zine-making eves in 2025 are supported by theย Greenwich Healthier Communities Fund.

Please note: this event is themed around memories of teenage yearsย gone by, and isย aimed at LGBTQIA+ adults.
