British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreted Attic Tour

Created by Heritage Interpreters

Join our expert guide and a BSL signed interpreter on a tour of some of the hidden attic spaces at Knole.

Hidden above the showrooms lie Knoleโ€™s attics. Join a behind the scenes tour to explore these spaces and see a different side to Knole, with simultaneous BSL interpretation from Heritage Interpreters.

This behind the scenes tour will take in the decorated ceilings, graffiti, witchmarks โ€“ also known as ritual protection marks โ€“ and artefacts found in the Retainerโ€™s Gallery, South Barracks and Upper Kingโ€™s Room.

This tour will last approximately 45 minutes and is reserved for Deaf people, but can still be enjoyed by accompanying visitors.

Normal admission to Knole applies. As well as a ticket for this tour, please pre-book an Outdoor and Tower ticket per person. This is free for National Trust members. Car parking is free with all admission tickets.
