Discover artworks depicting elite officers and ordinary sailors, as well as a long-lost portrait by the acclaimed 18th-century painter Thomas Gainsborough.
On the tour, you will learn more about Queen Henrietta Maria (1609-69), who played a crucial role in the development of the Queen’s House, and view the Indian miniature of Zeenat Mahal (1823–1886), wife and favourite of the King of Delhi and the last Mughal Emperor. Zeenat is the first South Asian Queen to be represented in Royal Museums Greenwich’s collection.
