Come and join the fun and accessible walks being run by ELREM Foundation CIC. Join the group, meet some new friends and get walking.
Welcome to the Deaf Walking Club event! Join us for two special walks in historic parts of London. Meet some new friends or bring your family along for a fun and inclusive walk. These events are designed for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing to come together, socialise, and enjoy a leisurely stroll. Whether you prefer to chat in sign language or simply walk in silence, everyone is welcome to join. Let’s explore the surroundings and connect with fellow members of the deaf community. Tag along for this trip around the beautiful Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, exploring the vibrant Hackney Bridge and the historic Hertford Union Canal.
Meet outside the M&S store at Stratford International Train Station.
The walk will be fully accessible and be approximately 3-5 miles long with adequate stops and comfort breaks. Perfect for beginners.
Saturday 23rd August 2025 12pm to 3pm
Definitely not a walk to miss. Come and join us for a walk around historic Greenwich. Take in the fabulous Park, Observatory Hill, your reward for making it up the hill is the best panoramic views of London. Luckily for us (and you), the Greenwich Fair is happening on the same day, being part of the GDIF festival. The Greenwich, Docklands International Festival is a well-established summer event and is known for its inclusive activities, events and performances. If you are lucky, you may get to see some Theatre, Circus and Dance performances. These performances on 23rd August have live BSL interpretation.

The walk will be fully accessible and approximately 3-5 miles long with adequate stops and comfort breaks. This walk is for moderate walkers with some steep uphill sections.
