Project Roadmap

Updated on 31st August 2025

Deaf Where? is still growing. This page highlights the features already live, the improvements on the way, and the bigger ideas planned for the future.

The platform evolves directly from community feedback. Some upgrades are available now, while others will come once more events are submitted and the site becomes financially sustainable.

In the longer term, once there’s a steady flow of event listings and income from sponsorships or advertising, Deaf Where? will reinvest in major upgrades such as:

  • A booking system so you can register and pay for events directly on Deaf Where?
  • A mobile app with push notifications for new or updated events

These features will only be introduced when it’s viable to do so, ensuring the platform stays free for the community while continuing to expand in functionality.

If your business or organisation supports Deaf people and would like to sponsor or advertise on Deaf Where?, please have a look at the Advertising & Sponsorships page.

Community-Led Development

Deaf Where? is designed to be community-led, not centrally managed. Event organisers are responsible for submitting their own listings – and the site grows through shared participation.

If you’ve submitted an event, provided feedback, or helped spread the word – thank you. Your involvement directly shapes the future of Deaf Where?.
