Project Roadmap

Updated on 16 April 2026

Deaf Where? is still growing. The platform evolves based on how people actually use it – what works, what doesn’t, and what the community asks for.

What’s happening now

  • Expanding the number of events listed across the UK
  • Improving how events are displayed and discovered
  • Developing the newsletter to better highlight upcoming events
  • Introducing paid promotion options to support the platform

What’s being explored next

  • Automating parts of the newsletter to make it more sustainable
  • Smarter filtering and search tools
  • Better tools for organisers to manage their own listings

Longer-term ideas

  • A booking system so people can register or buy tickets directly
  • A mobile app with notifications for new or relevant events

These will only be developed if and when it makes sense – the priority is keeping Deaf Where? useful, simple, and accessible.

If your business or organisation supports Deaf people and would like to help the platform grow, take a look at the Advertising & Sponsorships page.

Community-led development

Deaf Where? relies on organisers submitting their own events. The platform grows through shared participation, not central control.

If you’ve submitted an event, shared feedback, or told others about the site – that’s what keeps it moving.
