Deaf Where? is still growing. The platform evolves based on how people actually use it – what works, what doesn’t, and what the community asks for.
What’s happening now
- Expanding the number of events listed across the UK
- Improving how events are displayed and discovered
- Developing the newsletter to better highlight upcoming events
- Introducing paid promotion options to support the platform
What’s being explored next
- Automating parts of the newsletter to make it more sustainable
- Smarter filtering and search tools
- Better tools for organisers to manage their own listings
Longer-term ideas
- A booking system so people can register or buy tickets directly
- A mobile app with notifications for new or relevant events
These will only be developed if and when it makes sense – the priority is keeping Deaf Where? useful, simple, and accessible.

Community-led development
Deaf Where? relies on organisers submitting their own events. The platform grows through shared participation, not central control.
