Deaf Where? is an independent UK-wide platform for discovering Deaf-led and signed-language-accessible events. It brings together social events, cultural performances, workshops, festivals, tours and online activities in one place.
Deaf Where? was created to meet a simple need: a reliable place to find and share Deaf events without relying only on word of mouth or scattered social-media posts. Listings highlight event languages and access information such as sign-language interpreters, captions, STTR, wheelchair access and quiet spaces.
The website is created and independently maintained by Calum Medlock, a Deaf inclusion advocate and web developer. Deaf Where? is run voluntarily alongside his full-time employment.
Deaf Where? is a self-service platform. Organisers submit and manage their own events, while submissions are reviewed to protect accuracy, access information and community relevance. The platform continues to develop through practical experience and community feedback.
